On April 24 at 5:50 p.m., a Glover Park resident’s month-old MacBook Air was stolen from in front of 2300 Wisconsin Ave.—the Starbucks building—by an unknown person, the victim told police.

On the evening May 25, a patron of Surfside (2444 Wisconsin Ave.) dined at a table with her purse at her feet. While she was seated, an unknown person swiped her wallet and passport from her purse, a police report states.

From recent police reports:

1. In the early morning hours of April 13, a resident of The Carillon House Apartments (2500 Wisconsin Ave.) brought home a woman he’d met that evening at a bar. After certain intimacies, he walked her to the door and then went back to sleep. When he woke up, his laptop and camera were missing, as was $200 in cash.

2. On April 24 around 3 pm, a man left his iPad 3 unattended on a table at Starbucks (2300 Wisconsin Ave.) for 10 minutes. When he came back, it was gone.

3. On April 30 at 5:00 pm, a man left $800 in a locker at Washington Sports Club (2251 Wisconsin Ave.). When he came back at 6:15 pm, the money was gone. Police records don’t specify whether the locker was locked.
