Today, Amazon Social is offering a coupon worth $20 for dine-in or carryout (i.e., not delivery) at Angelico’s (2313 Wisconsin Ave.). The coupon, which costs $10, is good at the Glover Park location only.

Meanwhile, Restaurant.com is offering a coupon worth $25 for dine-in at Heritage Thai Asian Bistro (2400 Wisconsin Ave.). The coupon, which costs $10, must be presented before ordering.

Stand-up comedy comes to the Avenue on Thursday, December 2, when Angelico Pizzeria (2313 Wisconsin Ave.) will host a show featuring Marcus Brown, Ken Watter, Emily Ruskowski, Jessica Brodkin, and Royce Wynn. Doors open at 7 p.m. Cost is $10.

Whole Foods (2323 Wisconsin Ave.) will host a storewide sampling of holiday items and offerings on December 4 from noon to 3 p.m.

Invitees can sip champagne and preview goodies from the holiday gift shop at Hair Lounge Salon (2201 Wisconsin Ave.) on the evening of Wednesday, December 8. To be invited to this free event, email events@chicpr.com.

Jonah’s Treehouse (2121 Wisconsin Ave.) will host a holiday party on December 17. Details weren’t available at press time, but can be found at jonahstreehouse.com.

Town Hall (2218 Wisconsin Ave.) is offering an all-inclusive New Year’s Eve party package. Details weren’t available at press time, but can be found at townhalldc.com. The restaurant is also available for private holiday parties.

Your pizza options are about to expand by 50 percent—if they haven’t already. Angelico Pizzeria owner Mustafa Misirci told us he hoped to open his new restaurant at 2313 Wisconsin during the first week of February. The local chain, which boasts of hearty meals at good value, joins neighbors Café Romeo’s at 2132 Wisconsin (offering lavash rolls and free delivery) and Kavanagh’s Pizza Pub at 2400 Wisconsin (with a full Italian menu and bar) in striving to meet your pizza needs.

An Angelico’s exec had told us previously that the restaurant—which also delivers—would serve beer and wine, but Misirci says he has no immediate plans to do so.
