Until Monday, May 21, Balance Gym (2121 Wisconsin Ave.) is offering two online deals: a $25 coupon good for five boot camp sessions or a $59 coupon good for a two-month gym membership. The membership comes with the option to continue month-to-month at $69, which is $10 lower than the gym’s advertised rate.

A third deal, on Crossfit classes, is offered for Balance’s non-Glover Park locations. All the coupons must be redeemed by August 14.

On May 5th, revelers will leave Town Hall (2340 Wisconsin Ave.) by chartered bus to attend the Virginia Gold Cup steeplechase race. The $130 all-inclusive bus ticket covers refreshments on the bus, private catered tents with full bar at the race, and a private party at Town Hall upon the bus’s return. Free overnight parking is also included. Proceeds will benefit the DC homeless services agency SOME.

Looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl on February 5? Glover Park has got you covered.

Bourbon (2348 Wisconsin Ave.) will offer happy hour draft beer prices (i.e., $2 off), whiskey specials, and half-price appetizers from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Breadsoda (2233 Wisconsin Ave.) plans $3 Bud, Bud Light, PBR, and Miller Lite; free pool, shuffleboard, and Wii till closing; and food specials including nachos, tacos, and chili dogs from noon to closing that day.

Heritage Asia (2400 Wisconsin Ave.) will offer Tandoori wings for $5, tap beers for $3, and margarita pitchers for $16 during the Super Bowl.

Kavanagh’s (2400 Wisconsin Ave.) will offer its “barstool special” from 5 p.m. on: a pint of beer plus a slice of pizza for $5. They’ll also have wings for $5.

Mason Inn (2408 Wisconsin Ave.) will have themed drink specials for each team, specials on Bud Light pitchers, and a DJ playing before and after the game and during halftime.

If you’re hosting a party, Old Europe (2434 Wisconsin Ave.) is offering free delivery on a party platter that feeds 10-12 people. The $150 platter features handmade pretzels with “Obatzda” (beer cheese spread), bite size chicken schnitzel and “Frikadellen” (meatballs), sausage sampler with mustard duo and curry ketchup, potato pancakes with a garlic-parsley dip, and your choice of potato salad, sauerkraut or tossed greens. Surfside (2444 Wisconsin Ave.) will be featuring its taco bar: grilled steak, chicken and shrimp, plus toppings including guacamole and lime sour cream, for $19.95 per person.

Town Hall (2340 Wisconsin Ave.) hadn’t cemented its Super Bowl plans at press time, but “we’ll take a stab at doing something fun,” says managing partner Paul Holder.

We first heard it on Twitter, and we can confirm: The Mason Inn (2408 Wisconsin Ave.) is now a spot for Baltimore Ravens fans to gather and watch games on the big screen…even when the Washington Redskins are playing. Purple jerseys outnumbered street clothes through much of Sunday’s slaughter of the Indianapolis Colts. Because of the bar’s many flatscreen TVs, though, fans could keep an eye on other games, including the Skins’ honorable loss to the New England Patriots. The inn’s new NFL allegiance was suggested by a few Baltimoreans on its staff, says co-owner Fritz Brogan.
