Screen Shot 2015-06-08 at 9.24.56 AMAn exhibition by a local art duo called Duly Noted Painters opens Saturday, June 13 at Bourbon (2348 Wisconsin Ave.). “Similar to jazz musicians, at times we work together simultaneously,” the artists, Kurtis Ceppetelli and Matthew Malone, wrote in a statement. “Unlike traditional collaborations, our process does not adhere to a set formula dictating who does what. This allows for dramatic changes in mood, color, and feeling within each piece and leads to surprising and often unexpected results.” The mixed-media artwork will remain on display at the bar through June 20.

There’s a free opening event on June 13 at 6:30 pm. Guests who RSVP in advance will be eligible to win a free Duly Noted sketch. For more info, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sketch-show-tickets-17032239888.
