Sprig & Sprout (2317 Wisconsin Ave.) will open for brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, starting October 26. The brunch menu will include traditional Vietnamese foods such as Bo Kho (beef stew with lemongrass, ginger, star anise, and cardamom) as well as “Viet-American platters” that take familiar brunch dishes like breakfast burritos and give them a Vietnamese twist, according to a press release.
To celebrate the new menu, the restaurant is offering a free mimosa or Bloody Mary with certain dishes through the month of November. “There will also be specials on brunch cocktails, as well as select beers,” the press release states. The brunch menu is available only in the restaurant’s upstairs dining room.
