From the January 2011 edition of the Glover Park Gazette:
Gin & Tonic (2408 Wisconsin Ave.) has admitted fault and accepted a $5,500 fine to resolve charges of allowing disorderly conduct during two separate incidents, according to an Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration spokesman. On December 1, representatives of the club agreed to a settlement deal in the matter, the spokesman adds.
The first incident happened on Halloween 2009, when three shirtless revelers got bounced from the club and a fight broke out on the street. In the second incident, which happened in January 2010, one patron was attacked by several others in the men’s room. In the time since these events, the club has gained four new part-owners, who vow an upscaling of the venue—and the crowd.
