Two years after the Maslow Media Group decamped for Georgetown Plaza across the street, the vacant brick rowhouse at 2134 Wisconsin (next to Cafe Romeo’s) will become the home of Field English Custom Tailors. Established in 1968 by William Field, Sr., the business is now owned and operated by Mr. Field’s son, William P. Field II. The shop is in the process of relocating from its current home at 1742 Wisconsin, says the younger Field, and should open in Glover Park on April 12. Field has leased the building with an option to buy it, he says.
